I specialise in helping children gain weight when underweight, I help mothers and families overcome feeding difficulties, and I am also involved in diseases such as diabetes, obesity, gastrointestinal disorders, heart disease, malabsorption, food allergies and intolerances. I have developed a passion for helping families overcome the many feeding concerns that can arise when raising a family.

As a Paediatric Dietitian, Working with Baby Boost allows me to promote health and help mothers achieve a healthy nutritious diet for the new members of their family.

I am continuously encouraging mums to chose foods that are nutritional, minimise intake of processed foods and enjoy a wide of variety of natural unprocessed foods like fruit and vegetables. Sounds easy doesn’t it? Having a healthy diet does not need to be complicated and difficult. However it does take practice and commitment, and it helps if you get off on the right foot, by having good advice when you start the weaning process.

Baby Boost products are parallel in nutritional quality as a home-made meal, and they are convenient. This allows mums to enjoy the convenience of commercially bought baby foods without the preservatives, flavourings and lengthy shelf life. It is well known to dietitians that commercial products are bland tasting due to over processing and excessive preservatives. This can hinder your baby from expanding their taste range and this can lead to ‘faddy eating’. It is important to introduce as many tastes and textures to your baby from 6 to 7 months as this can prevent your child from becoming fussy.

Baby Boost offers the convenience of jar food, however is nutritionally equivalent to a healthy home cooked meal. There are no added ingredients other than the vegetables and the water used for cooking. Good nutrition for your baby is Baby Boost’s No. 1 priority.
