5 minutes preparation and 5 minutes cooking
Ingredients:
600 gm chicken (use thigh fillets, cut into thin strips along the grain)
1 tbs honey
1 clove garlic, crushed
50 ml sweet soy sauce or ketsap menis
1 tbs sweet chilli sauce
1 small onion, finely diced
1 tbs vegetable oil (none if you have a non-stick pan)
Directions:
- Mix together the honey, soy sauce and sweet chilli sauce in a small jug.
- Heat oil in large frying pan. While still on a high heat add the onion and fry for 30 seconds.
- Then add the chicken pieces, frying until almost cooked. This will only take a few minutes.
- Add the sauce mixture to the pan. Bring to the boil, lower heat and simmer for 2 minutes and chicken will be cooked.
Serve with rice or freshly steamed vegetables. Drizzle remaining pan sauce over food.
