Ingredients:
25g butter
2 onions, sliced
1-2 cloves garlic, crushed
750g rump or sirloin steak
2 tablespoons dry red wine
125g button mushrooms, sliced
1 teaspoon French mustard
150g natural yogurt
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon each chopped thyme and parsley
Directions:
- Melt the butter in a large frying pan, add the onions and garlic and fry until lightly browned.
- Cut the steak into thin strips, add to the pan and brown on all sides.
- Add the wine and boil for 5 minutes, until the liquid has reduced.
- Add the mushrooms, mustard, yogurt and salt and pepper to taste and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Just before serving, stir in the herbs.
- Serve with fettucini pasta and greens
